Fish British Columbia's world class lakes and streams where very few anglers have been before. Fly fish or spincast for arctic grayling, lake trout, northern pike, bull trout (dolly varden), rainbow trout and walleye.
Fly out daily from our comfortable Northern Rockies Lodge to remote mountain lakes and streams. Our unique fishing area is only accessible by air. The fishing territory covers over 25,000 square miles of the most scenic and untouched wilderness in northern Canada, part of the Muskwa Kechika Area.

The fishing season extends from ice break-up in the last week of May until freeze-up in early October.
Spoon and fly fisherman will find our remote lakes and streams to host huge populations of freshwater fish, with arctic grayling, lake trout, northern pike, bull trout (dolly varden), rainbow trout and walleye making up the most commonly caught species.

A typical day: Your bush pilot is also your licenced and experienced Angling Guide. Each morning he will fly you with the floatplane to a fishing spot of your choosing. Boats and motors are ready for lake fishing, while the fly fisherman wade the untouched, clear running streams. Fresh caught fish is cooked by your bush pilot at lunch time over an open fire. Enjoy more great fishing until late afternoon. Your return flight over the majestic Rocky Mountains brings you back to your comfortable Lakeshore Chalet at Muncho Lake.
When to visit:
- The fishing season extends from late May through to the end of September.
- Late May and June is excellent spin casting for walleye and lake trout.
- Late June to mid-August enjoy the warmest weather. Great fly fishing and spin casting for northern pike, lake trout, walleye, rainbow trout and arctic grayling.
- From mid-August to the end of September experience some of the best spin casting for northern pike and walleye. Fly fishing for rainbow trout, bull trout (dolly varden) and arctic grayling is a joy during the northern Rocky Mountain autumn.
