Experience world class freshwater fishing in the unspoiled wilderness of the Northern Rocky Mountains.
Fly out daily from our comfortable Northern Rockies Lodge to remote mountain lakes and streams, in the Muskwa-Kechika Wilderness area where very few anglers have been before.
"I want you to know that my week with you fishing all of those wonderful fish-filled lakes was undoubtedly one of the finest trips I have ever had."
- Fred Hill, California |
Choose From Over 70 Fly-in Lakes and Streams
Our fishing area covers over 25,000 square miles of some of the most scenic and untouched wilderness in northern Canada. The spectacular Muskwa-Kechika wilderness area is part of our fishing territory. After the middle of May we start our fishing season. The spoon fishing is excellent until the end of September.
For the fly fishermen we highly recommend July, August or September. By the end of June the mountain streams are running clear. Rainbow Trout, Arctic Grayling, Dolly Varden, Bull Trout and Rocky Mountain Whitefish are a joy to catch on dry flies or nymphs.
"Like a powerful drug, this land claimed our resistance. We transformed into fishermen."
- Richard Demers, Alberta |
Your bush pilot and fishing guide flies you in one of our floatplanes to a different fishing spot each day. After a hearty breakfast at Northern Rockies Lodge we take-off from in front of your chalet and soar above breathtaking mountain scenery to unforgettable fishing adventures.
At lunchtime your bush pilot cooks fresh caught fish over an open fire... an experience by itself! Enjoy more great fishing until late afternoon, then your return flight brings you back to Muncho Lake for a three-course dinner.
Awesome Fishing
The diversity of fishing opportunities in the lakes and streams in Northern BC, as well as within specific waters, will astound even the most experienced angler.
"Ahh, so many fish, so little time!”
- Norm Ellenberger, Wisconsin |
