Tuchodi River
Scenic Tuchodi Lakes are located in a mountain valley 80 miles southeast of Muncho Lake in the Muskwa/Kechika Wilderness area. Excellent hiking and game watching opportunities. Fishing is great for lake trout, dolly varden and arctic grayling. The river is relatively fast (6 - 9 mph) and drops 1,000 feet in the first 40 miles. Sand pillar formations can be seen along this route. The Tuchodi River joins the Muskwa River which allows you to travel downstream all the way back to Fort Nelson. Grade 3, river travel time 3 to 8 days.
