Employment Opportunities
Our Northern Rockies Lodge is open year-round. We are looking every year for enthusiastic employees, who want to experience the north country. Positions can be seasonal from May to mid October or year-round. Preferance given to Canadian personnel and Canadian Students.
We require personnel in following fields: kitchen/chefs, hotel front desk/receptionist clerks, housekeepers, servers and maintenance persons.
Our European/North American style kitchen always welcomes fine chefs and other personnels from Switzerland, Germany and the U.S.A.
Under the International Youth exchange Program (between Canada and Switzerland) we can get working visas for Swiss personnel in the hospitality trade for chefs, hotel receptionists, waitresses and chambermaids. Our contracts are from 6-18 months. The participants have to be under 35 years old and need a finished apprenticeship in the above trades, no criminal record. We also can get carpenters, plumbers, maintenance persons under the same program.
Foreign Students:
For our American neighbors we can hire students under the SWAP program (student work permit exchange). The students get a 6 months working visa and the fee is $400 plus travel expense and medical insurance. The students have to apply themselves. Applicants have to be US Citizens, aged 18—30 years, no criminal records, be a full time student at an accredited U.S. college or university either in the fall or spring.
